The digital tool developed individually for the largest mining and metallurgical holding in Russia, aimed at working with various projects within the company.
We needed not only to create a new digital tool for working with the company's projects, but also to improve and optimize the work process.
To create a convenient and understandable tool for the company's employees that would help them work more efficiently and productively with the company's projects.
The team consisted of 30 people: product specialists, analysts, frontend and backend developers, devops. I was the only designer responsible for the design of product: from the visual component to user interaction with the interface.
User Interviews

At the beginning, we conducted a series of interviews with users to understand the roles that are involved in the work process. To understand who has what role, tasks, requirements and pains. Later, when working separately on each new feature, we also conducted the interviews with users.

To optimize the user work process I first needed to understand their current work process. To do this, I spent some time observing how they do tasks using current tools.

In order to better represent the user's scenario from creating an application to including a specific version of the application in the portfolio, I have compiled a CJM.
Prototyping

Each new functionality was tested on users and only after completion and adjustment was implemented. I especially like the CAPEX and OPEX filling functionality, which went through 6 iterations before we came to the final form. But the final version was highly appreciated by accountants and economists.

The design of the system was developed from scratch on tokens. It was used and is still used, including for subsequent projects of the company

The interface is fully adaptive for all major devices.

The tool has been successfully implemented into the company's work processes and all employees have fully switched to it.
